I'm not a player...

I forgot how dope the original "I'm Not a Player" by Big Pun is until it came up on the iPod today at the gym. He had that whole soul-loop sample thing going on in that song WAY before it was big. Pun was definitely one of the best mainstream MCs to come out in some time, and it kinda sucks that he is now pretty much forgotten about. If you don't have his debut, "Capital Punishment," or his (sorta)best-of, "Endangered Species," go check them out.
Almost "hump" day....

  • I can't wait to buy one of these and start mixing my way to stardom... no lugging around CDs or records...
  • Can I play? I have always wanted my name on there...
  • See your favorite celebrity sell out and make a nonsensical Japanese commercial.
  • For those who don't know, He plays in the NBA. Good looks Supp.
  • I hate to imagine what Mel Gibson fans would do if it came to re-enacting "Passion of the Christ"...
  • It's really cool that T.O. is such a down-to-earth guy.

That's all for today. If you are online late tonight, or any Tuesday night from Midnight to 1 a.m. eastern time, check out Late Nite Snax. They play plenty of underground hip-hop featuring new tracks, with a once-a-week spotlight on MF Doom.
